Filozyn. Independent Philosophical Magazine is an internet web page dedicated to promoting of philosophical thinking. The Filozyn magazine publishes texts concerning the reflexion on culture, society, and the wide range of related topics. The objective of the Filozyn magazine lies in the conviction that philosophy – or even thinking as such – is always expressed in the creative act, of which a particular case is an act of writing. Consequently, the texts published in the Filozyn magazine will refer to various philosophical traditions, instead of advertise exclusively for ideas forged within particular philosophical schools.
This kind of approach is an attempt to find an answear to the abundance of views, intentions and stances that appear in the public debate. If philosophy should in any way refer to this debate, it needs at least to realise the multiplicity and diverseness of contemporary ideas. For it is the ideas that have always been defining the shape of the social world, finding their expression, often in an indirect way, in the works of art and culture. To recognise the today's contours of these ideas is also a shape of task that is set to Filozyn. Independent Philosophical Magazine.
